Interview Need Not Be A Bed Of Roses

People attend interviews under the presumption that they will be treated in a fair and reasonable manner. Well, is there any guarantee that your client will treat you in a fair and reasonable manner? What if you have a very angry and rude boss who does not believe that you should be in your job? How will you contribute to the organization despite working under such conditions?
Pressure is an essential part of your daily life. In such a scenario, you have to get used to it as quickly as possible. Don’t you think your interview panel will be interested in finding out how you handle pressure? Those who have attended a boarding school will be aware of the concept of ragging. There is nothing malicious involved here but there is an attempt to intimidate you to find out how you react. This can definitely be a part of your interview. The panel may try to intimidate you by going on a lot offensive.
Or, the panel may divide itself into good and bad guys and will try to push you down. If you tend to form dependence on the good guys and agree to whatever they say even though you know it is not right or sensible, the panel will automatically reject you as a person who crumbles under pressure.
On the other hand, if you purposefully antagonize the good guys as well, the panel will quickly realize that you are an arrogant person who reacts negatively when placed under stress. Be prepared for such tests when giving an interview.
